Tell the truth ...

It's National Honesty Day! I'm not making this up. :)

I'll be honest with you ...

- Some of the shirts that are in style now make teenage girls look pregnant. Of course, I didn't mind this at all last summer when I didn't have to buy any "real" maternity clothes.

- I've never had my eyebrows professionally done and I need to. I really need to.

- my sister sang "Balm in Gilead" tonight and I thought she sounded like an angel.

- I don't care if that last statement made me sound crazy. :)

- I left the Wal-Mart without paying for my soda the other day and felt so bad I confessed it to Jeff when he got home. Then I went back, bought another soda and had them ring it twice. The checker thought I had lost my mind.

- my girls played in the sandbox today and didn't get a bath before bed. Gross! I just washed those sheets!

- Jeff and I have never had an argument about finances. I worry. He doesn't. End of story.

- I found out tonight that Amber Sandlin is a blog stalker. Ha! I outed you! Now you have to comment. :)

It's also Hairstyle Appreciation Day, so I appreciate Hannah's new haircut.

Brian and I on a trip to KY stopped for gas and we left without either of us paying for it. On the way home we discovered no one paid and I called the service station and thankfully they don't turn in drive offs until closing...we missed it by 30 min. Whew...that was a close one!

OH MY GOODNESS! I stole deoderant one time because it got lodged under the car seat and I realized it in the parking lot. I didn't want to load my kids back up and drag them back in the store so I LEFT!! My conscience ate me up and, I too, went back a couple of days later and had them ring up another one twice.

It is SUCH a blessing you and Jeff don't argue about finances. Do you know that is the number one reason for divorce! You two are so cute together!

I had no idea there was such a thing...and now I have "Balm in Gilead" in my head and I should be going to bed. I am going to be hearing "There is a balm....in Gilead" the way we sang it at camp one year. I don't know if you can imagine the inflection or not...but to me it is humorous. :) TMI!

Your sister sounded beautiful last night! I loved that you got to go up and sing next to her!

Random story: When I was little and we stayed at my grandparents house my brother and I would fight over the top bunk so my parents made us switch every night. One night we went to bed after playing in the sandbox (with no bath) and after the next night we refused to ever switch beds in the same trip again. From then on, if anyone ever asked us to sleep in the other's bed for any reason we said "I am NOT sleeping on his (her) sand!!!" We still joke about it.

Thanks for the haircut mention! I missed hearing your sister sing last night; I had to go feed Ben. I heard she did great!

Dustin! She is getting so grown-up and beautiful. I got to hear the recording of her song and "angelic" is an apt description!

A little sad that I had such a pitiful hair day on Hairstyle Appreciation Day...

Once Samuel and I had shared a popcorn chicken at Wal-Mart and without thinking I threw the empty container away. Later I realized I hadn't payed for it and had to go back and ask for an empty one just so we could pay for it. LOL

I accidentally stole a coke from Target once and couldn't sleep the whole night. My husband is extremely honest, but he thought I was nuts.

Oh, and I bought what I thought was the cutest shirt at Target the other day, and upon wearing it for the first time, was asked when I WAS DUE.
