10 Things Tuesday

XBOX Wife Ten Things Tuesday

Tuesdays are great days!

10 Things Tuesday - Mad about Maddie edition!

  1. I'm thankful that she looks kind of like me. After my firstborn came out an exact replica of my husband (okay ... exact replica is stretching it. More like "feminized version"), it was kind of fun when she resembled me just a little. :-)

  2. Every time I put something in the cart today, she said, "Thank you, Mommy!" like I was giving her little presents. She got lots of laughs and no evil glares in the store. Hallelujah!

  3. We enjoyed one of our favorite meals for our weekly lunch date - fritos (with a little chili).

  4. She sings all day long. With every song on the radio in the car. While she plays in the house. I love this, because I love to sing, too. Do you recognize what she's singing in this picture? Here's a hint: think Laurie Berkner*.

  5. She poo-poo-ed in the potty on Sunday! It was a fluke, but you would have thought she'd just won the Super Bowl by the way we were dancing around while Mads was chanting "I did it!" over and over.
  6. Her hair has finally grown out of that awkward hair phase that all little girls go through. It looks really sweet in pigtails now. (Or, "dog-ears" as my dad refers to them.)

  7. She loves her Sunday School teachers. When we get within sight of our church building, she shrieks, "There's my church!" (Yes, I know, "you don't go to church, you are the church". Don't judge her, she's only two.)

  8. She let's me pick out her clothes. She usually has a "shoe opinion", though. Hence the bazillion photos of her wearing those rain boots ...

  9. She's never really suffered from the dreaded separation anxiety. She's not very outgoing, so I'm proud of her for being brave in this area.

  10. Her laugh. It's definitely not a sweet little giggle. It's a big old belly laugh. Hands down the best laugh in the house.
*she was singing, "Maddie has a ball on her head".

love, love, love the picture of her laughing!! I like the church post too. Eva Grace thinks everyone from church lives at church. We just go visit all of them at their house on church days.

(answer to your question for me) a mystery shopper is a 3rd party subcontracted out to test certain businesses. So today I audited a business in town. I had a 25 page list of things to go in and look for. I did it, submitted my answers and they paid me. Super easy money!!! You should do it. You can shop motels and get free motel stays, restaurants, stores, etc... The easy part is that you can pick what you want to do and if you don't want to do it you don't have to!

I wish I could just *squeeze* her, she is so very adorable!!
I love the fact that she loves her church, that she laughs a REAL laugh, that she eats fritoes & chili, looks like her mommy, wears pig tails/dog ears....but what I really love about this little one that I don't even have the pleasure of knowing is that she loves to wear rain boots.....how cool is that!???!

A lovely post, full of love =)

She is a cutie patootie!!! I especially love the laughing pic. It makes me just want to laugh along with her. Maybe some day I'll get to meet your little Maddie (and the rest of your kiddos - for that matter). I think Sophie was under 2 yrs old when I last saw her, and she's definitely a little girl now.

She's adorable. Following in the footsteps of her mom. I have no doubt she'll be singing a duet with Sophie when she's older -- The Rose. :)

So cute!! We called pigtails dogears when I was little too, and I loved her song! Sounds like something H would sing! What a fun list!
