10 Things Tuesday

XBOX Wife Ten Things Tuesday

Hooray! It's that time again! If you aren't blogging about this by now, I hope you are doing it in your mind each day. It's such a mood lifter!

Today I am thankful for:

  1. High thread count sheets. I'm exhausted and my bed is extremely comfortable.

  2. Bouncies. If they hadn't been invented, how would I have gotten a shower for the past 4 years? (Ours is about to be retired. It has served us well. RIP bouncy seat ...)

  3. General Foods International Coffee. Specifically - Cafe Vienna. Yum, yum.

  4. While we are on the food theme, I am thankful for leftovers. Leftovers= no cooking. We can all rejoice!

  5. Maddie did not cry for Sophie during her nap today!

  6. About five minutes after this fit (see photo), my oldest crawled into my lap and said, "Sorry, mommy." I am thankful for that.

7. I'm also thankful for her generous nature. Last summer, she wanted to make dresses for all her friends. Now, she is really into making bows. She wants to have a big box of bows that "friends can pick from!"

8. I used the phrase, "now that I'm a runner" in conversation, today. I'm thankful that my friend didn't laugh. :-)

9. Sirius radio! It gives me my 80's on the way to run, my blue grass when I'm feeling my roots, and Kidsongs the rest of the time.

10. Hearing my girls singing from the back seat. Raise your hand if you think at least one of the heavenly angel choirs will be made up entirely of toddler voices!

I encourage you to do this in your own life. It's a blessing in itself. Then go to x-box wife, so we can all share in it!

I am raising my hand....both hands. All the words will the wrong, but no one cares because it is adorable!!

LOVE the thankful list! I need to join that bandwagon. In my local circle of friends, I am the only non-runner, so your comments on running brought a special smile to my face. My friend Holly (her name is in my side bar) is a HUGE runner... you should sheck out all her tips and info!

AMen for the leftovers! They are great. So is making doubles when you cook and freezing one - it's almost as easy as fast food! And, our hands are raised to the heavenly choir too, it makes it ok to hear those songs over... and over... and over....

Loved your list! The only way I ever got a shower was the bouncy seat, and H was such a huge baby that it bounced WAYYYYY back, but it worked! I also love reading about the funny things your daughters say...I usually share them with B and so we get an extra laugh from your family! I wish I would write down all the sweet things my son says so I would never forget them!

I love your list! I am so thankful for Sirius radio too. We live in the middle of no where and it is our lifeline to the music world! Especially Christian stuff! I was passionate about me bouncy-seats, too! And the gratitude on left-overs was genius!

OK. Do you think we could be virtual running buddies? I can't find anyone to run with me. :(

BTW... There are about five or six of you now who have inspired me to start the Tuesday top tens. Thanks. I love your list.

The bouncy seat was the best invention EVER for babies. Period. :)

How about a choir of babies IN bouncy seats?!? That would be pure joy :)

Two of my babies loved to use the bouncy seat as their personal pooping chair. I washed the cover to ours too many times to count because of their "use" of it! I do love hearing them sing. I did not cry on Julianne's first day of school, however, I did cry a week later when I went to chapel for the first time and heard all of those precious children singing praise and worship songs! Amazing!
