We're raising gold medalists.

Well, we Ramseys are doing the very same thing that every other person in the world is doing right now: watching the olympics and deciding which sport to push each of our children into so we can bask in all the glory. And get free tickets.

Eliza - her one talent seems to be her ability to reach things that are at least 30 feet away. Hmmm... maybe rowing? They need long arms, I think. And there are SO MANY opportunities for rowing here in Jonesboro (cough, cough). Maybe by the time she's old enough there will be an olympic sport where they shove inappropriate things in their mouth. She's awesome at that.

Maddie - we asked her what she wanted to do at the olympics (because we are not pushy parents) and she said, "okay", which we translated to mean she wanted to do lots of events so it's track and field for her!!! This will be her uniform:

Sophie - she wants to be a dancing Chinese girl/mermaid. Not exactly politically correct, but hey! someone is developing an imagination!!!!! We're pumped!

Here is Soph doing some Chinese acrobatics:

Did you know I was a rower all four years of college (in Washington state), and then I coached collegiately for four years before getting married?! More important than long arms is being TALL, so start stretching her out right now! ;-)

Lucy wants to be a ballet teacher/doctor/mermaid, so maybe she and Sophie can be the pioneers of a new dancing/mermaid event!

Sophie should definitely be a dancing chinese mermaid. I would totally watch that sport.

I was once a dancing Chinese girl/mermaid myself. I can be Sophie's coach. Free tickets extend to coaches, right? :)
