A Star is Born :-)

Just got back from the big performance. They sang a song about a penguin and did the Hokey Pokey (that's what it's all about, after all). It was incredibly fun. Why is it that whenever your child is on stage, whether they really get into the motions (as Sophie did) or stand there and make faces (as most did), you just laugh hysterically. The whole auditorium was filled with parents cracking up. I like to think I have a highly developed sense of humor (cough, cough) , but have a little kid dance around in a costume and I'm a goner every time.

Sounds like you have quite the little performer! I know you are so proud. By the way, I'm so impressed with your daily blogging.

The performance sounds great! This is only the beginning of many shows, I'm sure. Very nice job on the poodle skirts!

Your girls are so cute!

I married David Haustein -- remember him? Chi Os beau?

I was in Togo for 2 years -- '00 and '01, and we got married in July of '02. If you want to read the WHOLE story, you can go back to my archives -- July of '07 -- I blogged our story for our anniversary. :)

Who did YOU marry? (I mean, I know his name but who in the world IS he?) J/K
And where do you guys go to church?
