It sure is Monday.

I'm a little embarrassed about the pity party I threw last week.

I thought about deleting that post, but just because I'm ashamed that I fussed, doesn't mean that I can pretend I didn't do it. Also, like my friend Crystal mentioned, I'll want to remember this particular Thanksgiving so I can laugh at it.

Anyhoots, as the lovely Janet Parkey has been known to say, "build a bridge and get over it!" And so I have.

Today, we were bored so we did mani/pedis. Sophie did the mani, Mads did the pedi.
Then, I let the girls have a bubble bath in the middle of the day.

They were having a "tea party" and I was reading Family Fun magazine. (Why yes, I am Nerd of the Year. Thanks for asking.)

All of a sudden Sophie squeals.

"Mads! Let's make mop water!"

Yes, we Ramseys sure know how to have a good time.

And to show what an awesome mom you are, I am sure you are going to wear that toe and finger nail polish for what.....a week? Glad this week is looking up for you!

Don't you dare be ashamed! As moms we do for others & not ourselves. It's hard when we have a legitimate emotion that's HUMAN, we feel guilty. Nope, you feel it & then like you're friend says, build ya a bridge.;)heh

Girl, I don't know what you are talkin' about! I tend to complain like that on a weekly basis (I've been a little whinee lately)! And, I love that saying by Ms. Parkey and thank you for saying I looked great!

Oh this just makes me laugh out loud. Zoe used to always swim in the bathtub. With her swimsuit and goggles on. Kelley would come home from work and ask "Why is the child in the bathtub with her swimsuit on?" and I would calmly tell him that she was swimming of course. We would laugh about our redneck swimming pool. (and mind you, it wasn't a jacuzzi or garden tub; just your basic old regular size bathtub.)
